A few photos from the first trip of 2017, back to the gritstone of the Peak District. I shan’t give a running comment on the weekend, except to say that there were high highs and low lows, but I believe we all had fun at one time or another. We now have dates for 4 weekends and one week planned for 2016. The 4 weekend dates are for the Friday (Leaving Friday evening for some), Saturday and Sunday. Camped just one mile from Stanage edge we took advantage of this by hiking up to the edge after setting up camp for the night on our arrival. Although there was a drizzle on and off there was still an excitement about us to be there even though conditions were not good at that moment.
