Another year with spring just round the corner, and me just coming out of hibernation. It is almost light after I finish work so i’m getting excited for getting on the rock. We now have dates for 4 weekends and one week planned for 2016. The 4 weekend dates are for the Friday (Leaving Friday evening for some), Saturday and Sunday. April 8th in the Peak district May 13th Location TBD June 10th Location TBD July 15th Location TBD For August we are planning for a one week trip. North Wales is strongly favoured. We bid a sad but hopefully temporary farewell to Ben for a while, while he goes and does his thang. Good luck to him. In an eventful day on the last Saturday of the month we saw lots of people try out the sports taster and the mobile climbing wall and many induction slips were handed out. Hopefully we increase our numbers with more budding enthusiastic wall crawlers.
Update. It seems this coming Saturdays Sports Taster Day event is starting from 10am till 3pm on the Tuesday market place. Along with the portable climbing wall set up there will be a DJ stage, the Go Ride cycling club, the Fitness team body attack class and a BMX flatland Demo among others.
