Aprils group trip to Stanage.

A few photos from the first trip of 2017, back to the gritstone of the Peak District. I shan’t give a running comment on the weekend, except to say that there were high highs and low lows, but I believe we all had fun at one time or another. An April weekend in The Peak District.

This was my first weekend away camping and climbing with you and I would very much like to say, thank you! Thank you Kings Lynn Climbing Club, for being such a friendly and welcoming group. Official climbing weekends 2016

We now have dates for 4 weekends and one week planned for 2016. The 4 weekend dates are for the Friday (Leaving Friday evening for some), Saturday and Sunday. April 8th  in the Peak district May 13th  Location TBD June 10th  Location TBD July 15th  Location TBD For August we are planning for a one week trip. North Wales is strongly favoured. August 13th to 20th

The Peaks April 2015

Camped just one mile from Stanage edge we took advantage of this by hiking up to the edge after setting up camp for the night on our arrival. Although there was a drizzle on and off there was still an excitement about us to be there even though conditions were not good at that moment.
