Camped just one mile from Stanage edge we took advantage of this by hiking up to the edge after setting up camp for the night on our arrival. Although there was a drizzle on and off there was still an excitement about us to be there even though conditions were not good at that moment.
The same could not be said for the next day as the weather was dry and warm.
Hence the happy face.
The following day we journeyed south to the Roaches in Staffordshire where it was a little green but we managed a couple of routes.
